Why do we use hour rates?

We use this conversion rate because it’s always adequate to the amount of work and is the result of experience and constant work tempo. At the pricing stage we always give an estimated time needed for this particular project and an estimated maximum price, which is negotiable.

The level of braiding and interlocking is always adjusted to the individual needs and hints of our customer, in order to provide them with the best experience possible and meet their expectations. Recommended time between re-thickening / re-twisting is approximately 3 – 4 months.

Average working time is 3 – 4 hours. Very neglected dreads or big amount of dreads require 4 – 6 hours.

Service for dreads and dreadlocks:

  • We provide professional and regular service.
  • We use only crochet hooks and a comb.
  • We do not use threads, rubber bands, glue, etc.
  • The service time is determined individually.
  • We give advice and tips on the maintenance of dreads

Standard maintenance includes:

  • tightening of big and small roots
  • dealing with untwisted and smashed ends
  • getting rid of loose hair around the dreads
  • dealing with minor clusters and elf-locks
  • improving the overall image of dreads

We repair and bring back to life even the most neglected and tragically made dread / dreadlocks. Due to the years of experience and a wide range of techniques, we convert even the worst elf-locks into the beautiful, stylish dreads.

The average repair time is 1-8 hours, depending on the amount of dreads and the degree of damage.

 Improvements and total repair include:

  • dealing with worn through spots, narrowing spots, breakages
  • dealing with thickened spots, bends, deformations
  • fixing large root clusters and clusters longwise
  • dealing with poor dreads’ distribution on the head (change of the size of dread roots )
  • fixing poorly interlocked and generally poorly made dreads

We can also change your thick dreads into thin ones or increase the number of dreads on your head.

Depending on the situation we can:

  • Comb dreads out longwise in half, making the single thick dreads thinner ones. With this option, each dread has a separate base root and it’s not necessary to use additional dreads.
  • Isolate new roots from among the thick roots and combine them with additional pieces of dreads, so that each dread has its individual base root.
  • Sew on additional pieces of dreads to the dread roots on the head. From one base root would then grow at least two dreads.
  • Thicken the entire hair by attaching single or double dreads to the base roots. It’s the perfect way to temporarily increase the volume in a quick and simple way.
